May 9, 2013 - Habitat for Humanity Iqaluit (HFHIQ) announced it will be building a fourth home in Iqaluit this summer. The new home will be built on a lot made available by the City of Iqaluit in Apex. HFHIQ plans to start the build early this summer.
The City of Iqaluit and Habitat for Humanity Iqaluit will be entering in to a long-term agreement in order to support HFHIQ’s goal of building 10 homes in Nunavut by 2020. As part of the agreement, when lots become available, the City will reserve a lot for HFHIQ and provide it at a discounted price.
