Habitat Iqaluit will finally be able to start the new home build our 6th build in Iqaluit since 2003, and we are extremely grateful for all the generous, tireless, support we have received from all of our community partners and volunteers over the years.
We are very happy that Kyra Flaherty and Pudlat Kilabuk were selected as the next Habitat for Humanity Iqaluit family and after a year delay, will finally see things move forwad. Kyra and Pudlat will be getting a hand up into affordable homeownership with Habitat for Humanity Iqaluit’s next build in the new Joamie Court Subdivision.
Habitat builds could not be done with out our volunteers and sponsors and we hope that when we do start our build that we continue to have the same great support we received during the last 5 builds. For those interested in participating in build #6 as a volunteer or sponsor there is plenty of time to get involved and we look forward to your assistance.
Let's hope and pray that COVID-19 will be diminished and not effect our 2021 build for Kyra and Pudlat and their family. Keep posted for more information as we get closer to cunstruction time.
